iPlans Portal has been designed to connect our valuable clients with our staff and help them experience the most out of the architectural process and the IT support system we have created. Protecting your privacy is fundamental to our ongoing relationship.

Here are a few facts you should know:

  • We never share any personal information with advertisers or marketers – including Google and Facebook.
  • We never sell or rent any information to third parties. We only ever pass on personal information when we have permission from our clients in writing to do so. This will only ever be to the local council, building control, builders, designers, structural engineers and other persons necessary to complete the works assigned to iPlans.
  • We do not share any sensitive information and we only ask for the minimum necessary to set up the iPlans Portal account and deal with necessary transactions within the scope of our commission, this is usually limited to name, address, phone number and email address. We do not usually request and never hold the financial information of our clients. If we request financial information it is for refund purposes only and the data is not held and is only used for the purpose requested.
  • All individual portal data, including quotations, messages, invoices and drawings are kept for 6 years after the project has been completed for audit and insurance purposes only. All personal information will be deleted after this period and during this archive period, the data will not be shared with anyone other than the client without written permission from the client.

iPlans is compliant with all applicable privacy laws, is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, and is also fully compliant with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which took effect on 25 May 2018.
